Catching up on some movies this weekend after a 27 hour workday on Thursday or Friday, depends how you look at it, I am wondering why European movies are so much more touching emotionally, cinematographically captivating, with a plot that you don't feel like you've seen 3,000 times and music that just tears you to shreds. If you want to read several different versions of the lyrics to the Hungarian suicide song, or Gloomy Sunday, be prepared to shed a tear, especially once you hear the melody.

Talk to her is a Spanish movie while Gloomy Sunday is German and on my que tonight are Paris, Je Taime, which I've seen and La Vie en Rose, obviously French. That is if I get out of work at a fairly decent hour tonight and not tomorrow morning.
